For shopping lovers, you might have heard of some best shopping places in Bali, such as the famous Pasar Sukawati, Pasar Ubud, and a few markets in Kuta Bali. Most of those places are selling handicrafts, souvenirs, snacks, and unique products made in Bali. In fact, you can see these products sold in so many places around Bali, even in the stalls by the main road in Kuta, Legian, Sanur, Ubud, Seminyak, etc.

Unfortunately, in those shopping places, you have to bargain in order to get a good deal. Although we can contribute more to local people if we buy directly from the market, but for some people, bargaining is just hard and uncomfortable to do. The good news is, there are some best shopping places in Bali where you can shop without breaking the bank.

Krisna Oleh Oleh Khas Bali

Krisna is a famous souvenir store brand in Bali, which has many branches across Bali, such as in Jalan Raya Tuban near Kuta; the strategic Sunset Road; in Lovina, and in some other places in Denpasar and Central Bali. Although Krisna itself is a big brand, it has affordable prices for various products.

Here, you can shop for almost everything you can think of: Bali coffee, crackers, snacks, clothes, paintings, bags, sandals and shoes, body care, bath salts, aromatherapy, accessories, silver, and wood handicrafts, typical Balinese fruit, etc. If you buy in bulk, they can also help you to pack them in cardboard neatly (with additional charge), so you can bring them straight to the airport going home.

Arta Sedana (ex Hardy’s Sanur)

Besides Krisna, there is also a one-stop shopping place called Arta Sedana (ex Hardy’s). This is a department store located in Sanur, Nusa Dua, Tabanan, Singaraja, etc. They have a supermarket, department store, and a few other stores in one building, which is very convenient to shop. You can buy pretty much everything in this place, from fresh fruits, Balinese wine and spirits, Balinese clothes and sarong, Bali coffee and snacks, bags and shoes, wood and silver handicrafts, body care, aromatherapy, and accessories. Although the price can be a little bit higher than Krisna, it is still one of the best shopping places in Bali.

The Keranjang Bali

The Keranjang (means “basket” in Indonesian) Bali is a new store located in By Pass in Kuta area. However, with its interesting basket-shaped building, it gains a lot of attention. Here, you can not only shop for many unique products but also experience Indonesian cultures and activities in its Kampung Langit cultural skypark located in the same building.

In Keranjang souvenir shop, they sell various authentic Balinese and Indonesian souvenirs, such as clothes, snacks, coffee and other drinks, and handicrafts. In Kampung Langit cultural skypark, you can experience a lot of Indonesian cultural activities, such as, making traditional Indonesian herbal drink (called “jamu”), joining batik class, enjoying fire dance, playing balinese traditional music instruments, etc.
