This fishing village is known for its fresh seafood market and restaurants by the beach, and several international 5-star beach resorts. Closer to the city, this area has more local residential complex, shopping places, and attractions.
You can get an airport taxi to reach Jimbaran Bali, or arrange the transfer from your accommodations. To get around and explore the area, you can rent a motorbike or car, or get on the taxi or online transportation services, like Grab or Go-Jek.
Seafood in Jimbaran Bali
Jimbaran fishing village is famous for its fresh seafood. You can buy fresh seafood in Kedonganan fish market, which opens from 4 AM till 9 PM daily. Some seafood “warungs” are also available in the market complex, where you can ask to cook the seafood you just buy, such a great and convenient way to enjoy the fresh seafood by the beach.
If you are not interested in going to the market but still want to grab delicious seafood, you can get plenty of them in the seafood restaurants lining along Kedonganan beach, which open for lunch and dinner. Listening to the splashing waves and occasional live-band singing, enjoying your dinner with your loved ones while your bare feet touching the sand, are indeed a beautiful way to enjoy Jimbaran Bali at most.

Besides seafood, you can also witness a beautiful sunset along the beaches in Jimbaran Bali, such as Kedonganan Beach, Kelan beach, and Muaya Beach. Organizing a fishing trip is also possible in this famous fishing village. Besides beaches, you can also pay a visit to Bali temples in this area, including Pura Ulun Siwi Kayangan Jagat, Pura Muaya, Pura Goa Gong.
