The Bali airport’s automated gates have officially launched and are now operating. They are conveniently placed in both the international arrival and departure terminals. However, only tourists meeting specific criteria can utilize these auto-gates for both arrival and departure processes.

If you hold a passport from any of the following nations: Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Timor Leste, Thailand, and Vietnam, you can enjoy the Visa Exemption (free visa) to enter Bali for a maximum of 30 days.

Note: With the Visa Exemption, you can only stay up to 30 days without the option of an extension. If your plans extend beyond 30 days in Bali, you can apply for a Visa on Arrival upon arrival or use an online application of an eVOA, which is extendable.

Travelers who hold passports from ASEAN countries and those who have acquired an eVOA can also use the Auto Gates at the Ngurah Rai International Airport.

Register here before departing to Bali to use the automated immigration clearance system.
